Just a detail screenshot of the Magic Girl illustration I'm working on. This is about half size of the view on Photoshop. It's turning out pretty good and the textures are meshing really well together. I can't wait to see the final of this.

Magic Time!

Kind of sick, which makes it harder to think and as much as anyone wants to disagree, illustration requires quite a bit of subconscious and conscious thinking on how you do things. Anyway, it's time for a bit of magic before cowboys come by.

Cats and a Baby

I really have to figure out how to scan watercolour illustrations one day or maybe I just need a better scanner. I actually like how the watercolour spot turned out; I'm still trying to find my voice with watercolour, but it's fun. Now for something cuter, little baby Red Riding Hood with a wolf plushie and a basket. I might I think take this into a final with a light bit of a modification like making the sucker more pronouced.

Castle Playground (working on)

There's the second image of the series of playground promos I'm working on. I've got one more plan that I'd like to work on. They've been fun and relatively simple to come up with. I miss the old days when imagination was more than half the fun. On a site note, my website has been updated with a few illustrations I've finished in recent month including the last playground promo I finished last month. It's been so hot lately, it's impossible to work at 100%, I can't wait until the fall rolls in with cooler weather.
