Shedding Skin
This is an idea I'm playing with for new years this year. It still feels a bit off, but I like the direction I'm heading with it.

Year of the Snake (WiP)
It's the year of the snake soon, well water snake to be exact soon. I just find it interested that the lunar new year becomes more and more of a big deal in North America, at least in the big cities, as the years go by. I'm waiting for the day to see sales due to it.

400! (Origami)
I've finally reached 400 posts, which is pretty amazing considering I never though I'd keep blogging after the first year. It's been about six years, but back to the drawing at hand. I've had this idea to do an origami story book for ages now and this isn't it, but it's interesting to find a way to turn something 3-d that's made for something very flat back into something 2-d while hopefully looking a bit 3-d. Yes, that's confusing and I'm not sure if I said it right.

Snowman Army - Close Up
I thought I'd show a detail close of how the closer snowman looks like. It's looking good and the trouble of having a lot of things that are "white" isn't causing me too much trouble so far.

Snowmen Troops
I didn't realize it, but two more post after this one makes it to the magic number of 400 well technically I could just claim any number is a magic number. I honestly didn't imagine I'd still be blogging for this long or have the energy to keep it up. Now onward to the rough. I had this rough sketch for the longest time for a kid learning an army of snowman but I scaled it a bit back into a small troop of them. I tried to give me snowman their own personality.

Wizard sketch
I love playing tower defence games so I thought I'd create my own ... well, I'd design my own 'cause I sure can't code any kind of games. It'd be fun and I guess it's normal now to do a "reverse" with the orcs or monster towers which would be a lot of fun.
