Portrait - 2015 - WiP

I'm having a friend work on a new design for my site and part of that was needing a picture of me facing in. He had suggested I flip the image I current use, but it ruins the whole dynamics of the illustration that way so I did what an illustrator would do, I drew something new that fit what he wanted. This is almost done, but I wanted to show it off.

It sounds bad, but it's been awhile since I've been sketching every day though I'm really enjoying picking up the habit again. My brain is slowly getting use to the work out again. I'm just playing around with some different brush pens.

I've been trying to try a lot more lately. It's something I've gotten bad at lately for a whole host of reason. One of the thing of just "free" drawing is that it's very relaxing. It's one of the reason I love to draw, there's a freedom in create and exploring different ideas and things. There's an infinite possibility with a pencil, pen and paper. I was looking at the site of Skottie Young, an amazing illustrator, and I got inspired a bit to draw another drawing of me. I love the SD/chibi portions that Skottie does, but the best part is that you can always tell it's him. I saw the variant cover of a comic and instantly, I recognized who drew it.
