Sheeps!

I'm doing something with sheeps for my next illustration. It should be fun. I got inspired from a friend for this.

Music/Dancing Knight

Just a rough sketch and the finalized line work of a really old sketch I had. The original rough sketch was a knight swinging his sword, I think; it's sometimes hard to tell with things that rough, but in the drawing it felt like his feet were dancing so here it is.

EDIT: Posted a working on version. I'll hopefully be finished by tomorrow. I'm not sure if I'm going to do the photoshop texture on it. It might look pretty cool, but I'm not so sure these days, it feems more like a process than anything else. Well, there goes the weekly and daily thing. I think I'm just going to work in doing illustrations as much as possible period. I'm more loose that way.

a Girl for all Season

Finished all these last week, but I don't feel like loading them up seperately so they're all here together. A friend suggested I try to do a girl for each season as I was finished the last piece (orange one) so I'm not sure if it really works. But I still like them as a whole. Flat versions up top and textured versions after that. Each has its own qualities that I like.

Cerberus - fin

Well it took over 2-3 months, but I actually got around to finishing this. I might try to take it into photoshop to play with some collage textures, but I'm not too sure about it.

EDIT: Added the photoshop textured version. I'm not too sure about the "fur" textured. It still doesn't feel right. I think I might just go back and drop in a "stone" one instead since it normally works easier.

Girl with Swirls

Just something I did based on an old sketch. I sorta like the feel in the sketch more, as always, but this isn't too bad. It's got is own feel to it.

Weekly and every other Daily Illustrations

Just a heads up starting later this week or the beginning of next week, since I'm finally finished school, I'm going to try to a full weekly illustration (digital-traditional hybrid) that's more concept driven as well as every other day Daily illustrations (traditional) that's more for practise and exploration. Here's hoping for some fun stuff.

Lastly, I've included a new illustration I did for my grad show promo. It's based on a set of illustrations I did for as a gift for a friend. I might post those later on.

Cat with a bottle

I should really put some watermarks or something like this due to the stupid Orphans Act (sp). Go Google it if anyone doesn't know about. Anyways, rough sketch for a personal piece.
