There, finally finished after a few days. I've got to get back into the groove of working faster again. I like it, but yet I'm not completely happy with some of the colours. I'll make some adjustment after a night to see it with fresh eyes tomorrow.
After much problems, computers and personal ones, I'm back to drawing and illustrating again. I've actually had this idea for awhile now since my computer broke down but I can finally get to it. I like the idea and something about the way the dragon's face is done makes me laugh. He's more curious than dangerous like one version of the sketch where he's breathing fire from behind the knight.
I'm finally finished with it. It should have honestly taken less time since it's a simple illustration. I guess I'm still not getting into the groove of illustration yet which sucks a lot. A part of me wants to roughen this up more though I'm not sure if I'll do this digitally or print on something rough, scan and reprint.
Here's a working colour rough of the illustration I'm doing. The funny thing is that my brother thought, jokingly or not, that this was for a children's physics book or something. I'd honestly love to see that happen one day.
So I'm finally back to working on illustrations again after my computer died, sorta revived, really died and got fixed. Now to get back into the swing of things to draw and create again. Back to the illustration at hand, this is part of a series I thought of doing awhile ago with a touch of humour to it explaining how the world works. This is about "gravity".
