Unwanted Reward - WiP

Time to get started on another illustration. It's funny that I've had this idea floating around for ages along with a funny mirror illustration for this one. I've got stacks upon stacks of sketches and sometimes things aren't working well with the original sketches or another project jumps out and almost needs to be completed first. But it's nice to be able to go back to old drawings and improve and finish them up. It shows me how much I've grown in recent years.

Waiting for Water - WiP ii.

I'm almost finished this with one last "character" to put waiting in line. I will admit that I was a bit worried in the middle of creating this piece as I was building it from parts instead of making it a complete whole to begin with. It's an interesting and quite different process to do. It's building each piece to finish and trying to make sure that they all work the other pieces even if they were created the same time. An interesting process and maybe sometime I'll try again in the future.

Here's part of the illustration I'm working on for a charity. I've got two more figures to go plus the background so it's quite a bit of work left. But it's turning out pretty good.

This is an example where I'm changing things around quite a bit in the final illustrations. Sometimes when I'm correcting the shapes of objects, it throws everything else off alignment and I have to rearrange the other elements as well. I can't wait to throw on textures 'cause the flatness isn't work that well as of yet.
