More stencil fun

I've been experimenting and trying out different ways to use the stencils, which are really nice as it's a create one and re-use quite a bit. I'm enjoying drawing the bones behind the stencils with the glow in the dark paint applied afterwards. They're turning out really cool and glow in the dark is always awesome in my book.

Stencil Fun

I wanted to try something new recently. I got a chance to learning some t-shirt stencilling awhile back, but haven't found the time for it. I used a few fairly simple drawings so that I wouldn't lose anything when I turned it into a stencil. The results were pretty fun and I'm tempt to try to create some more.

Walking my dino

I picked up a really cool resource book on fashion so time to try out new clothing for people. Dinosaur walking would be cool for mini-dinos.

Late Night Reading

I've been trying to reduce things to shape more and more lately so I wanted to try this out. Overall, most of the elements in the piece are just basically simple shapes. I can't wait to see the finished result.

Drawing of a Friend (Kat)

In honour of my cool photographer friend, Kat Rizza, doing a cool interview, I thought I'd do a picture of her. I think that's 3 drawings now so we've seriously got to get together for that portrait of me, preferably with some snow so maybe end of 2015.

Queen of Hearts (Hive 2 - textured up)

When I worked on my second deck, I decided for a quite a few reasons not to render things exactly the same as the first deck and went for a flatter vector look to everything. I did enjoy it, but since it's all over now, I wanted to try out to see how it'd look with textures. I enjoy it and it turned out pretty well. It won't go anywhere, but it's fun to "re-work" something old every now and then or just to completely re-do something to see how time and experienced has changed how I'd create a piece now.
