Instead of updating my website, I'm working on this. It's turning out really well and I love that vibrant hair for the girl. It should be pretty nice when I'm done.

Crab, Pig and a Flower

I like how the crab is looking. Something about the eyes and the mouth kind of makes me laugh. I'm still missing that finishing touch to have it fully completely and it'll be part of the illustrations I upload when I update my websites. Sometimes I find it funny that I get inspired and get that creative mood going on when I feel like quitting it all completely.

Nine-Tailed Fox

I've been meaning to do something like this for awhile now so here it is. The fox doesn't look exactly correct yet, but I'll fix that for the finalize version.

Princess - Work in Progress

I think it's been awhile since I've posted step by step progress work on a piece so here's some more. I've been going really slow with this piece, probably due to laziness and gaming and reading, but it's nice to take it slow for once. I've got more time to think and plan the piece over. I'm really liking the textured final version of the piece. It's got this moody feeling towards it.

Princess - Rough

I'm starting to really like this piece. It's an odd piece since I started off drawing the princess on a scrap piece of paper and had to tape an extention paper to it so I could finish off the rest of her body. With absolutely no room for the background, I ended up drawing all that on tracing paper. This process shows how not to do an illustration though sometimes that's hard when there's something special about the rough you know you'll lose if you try to redraw it again otherwise.

Another month, another Princess

I've just been really unmotivated lately to do anything, but I got inspired some by some shapes and lines to do this piece.

Chef & a Girl

So this is actually the 200th post on this blog that I can started for fun and 'cause a friend suggestation it, for a totally non-artistic reason. I should do something to celebrate so for anyone that knows me, free round of drinks on me the next time you can find me and providing I still remember this claim. Back to the drawings at hand. I like and I don't like the chef illustration up at the time. I see potentials there that I really want to go back to. I dropped the rough image over the completed version of the 2nd drawing up there. I'm going to put up the finalized one once I update my website. I liked how it turned out with the girl just sitting there in a dress. There's actually fine lace detail you can only see in a large version of the piece, but I really want to complete this rainbow and white series. So here I've got blue and I've uploaded orange, green and indigo already so red, yellow (*shudders* I so can't use yellow) and violet/purple left to go.
